AlgoA: algorithm-based credit recognition assessment

The “AlgoA” project is all about developing an algorithm-based system to check credit recognition for non-traditional potential students.

The software is to be integrated into the Leuphana Professional School website, and is being designed for the two continuing education programmes “Business Administration (B.A.)” and “Social Work for Pre-School Teachers (B.A.)”. “AlgoA” is to allow potential students to run a preliminary assessment of their professional and non-academic achievements, skills and abilities with an eye to their degree of choice – whenever they need and wherever they are. The digital assessment is designed to give users an idea of whether parts of degrees or modules can be recognised as credits, and whether this will affect the length of their degree.
